Now to “Review” a movie that’s like, I don’t know, 3 years old. That’s how good I am.
Alright, in the pantheon of movies, there is a genre that has changed very little since its inception, and that is the Karate [by which I mean Karate/Kung Fu/Samurai/Ninja] movie. Surprisingly, Karate movies are generally interchangeable with Cowboy movies (Think of the Seven Samurai and The Magnificent Seven). In many a Karate flick, you have a character running from something…to something else. Usually it is some job or behavior that he no longer wants to do or be…
… And The Warrior’s Way is no different. It is a story of redemption as told by an assassin, as he exits the killing lifestyle for the life of a “normal” man. But it is a great movie, and well worth the watching.
It’s got so many twists and turns, that it’ll keep you focused. On the screen it is absolutely amazing to see. The effects and cinematography are unlike anything you’ll see. You just need to check it out. The best part of it all is that it is FREE on Netflix, so get your butt over and watch it.
It brings a sort of artistic humanity to a violent theme… and if you love movies the way I do, you will fall in love with The Warriors Way.
